Our Flag,

 Long may it wave!

This fall, we will once again convene a gathering of SCC members for a meeting of cyber friends.

Again this meeting will take place over three days, starting on Thursday and ending on Saturday with most participants heading home on Sunday morning.

We will tour the historical sites of our nation's founding, from Jamestowne, the first settlement in 1607, to Hampton the oldest continuous English speaking settlement in the nation (1610) through Williamsburg and Yorktown.

We will also take a boat tour on the Miss Hampton of the harbor known as Hampton Roads by the Norfolk Naval Station, Fort Wool and various points of interest in this largest natural harbor in the world.

We will also tour Fortress Monroe, the only continuously active military Fortress in the country.  Fortress Monroe has a moat surrounding it high stone walls.  Many famous soldiers have served there, including Edgar Allen Poe and Robert E. Lee.

We will also tour the Air and Space Museum and see aircraft and space craft that comprise our nation's aerospace history.
